ENGINEERING

GA can issue all engineering documentation from the requirements analysis phase to Design Reviews to FAI/FAT.

Specifically:

• Preliminary design and feasibility studies

• Executive and detailed design

• Workshop and assembly drawings

• Engineering and manufacturing BOMs

• CFD and FEM calculations

GA engineers can perform CFD thermo-fluid-dynamic and FEM structural calculations, including coupled ones, on both traditional and composite materials.

Structural, thermal and fluid-dynamic simulations can also be carried out on the same system, making the respective results interact; in this way, it is possible to make an iterative calculation that, starting from the actions generated by the thermo-fluid-dynamic flows on the system under study, allows to verify its structural response and, in case of modifications necessary to optimise its resistance, repeat the loop until convergence.

FEM ANALYSIS

FEM Analysis provides the engineer with a virtual environment in which to simulate the behaviour of a product under all its conditions of use. All this even before the physical object is produced, and with the ability to analyse the behaviour of each component as it interacts with the rest of the system, which is very difficult to achieve in the laboratory. Above all, it becomes possible to look inside objects, studying how loads, stresses and strains are distributed within them, obtaining fundamental information that was once impossible to find.

CFD ANALYSIS

CFD analysis makes it possible to calculate the fluid dynamic behaviour of a system. CFD analysis is the most advanced tool that engineers have at their disposal to analyse the mechanical and thermal behaviour of fluids in order to design increasingly high-performance products.

CFD simulations are applicable to a wide variety of engineering fields and are indispensable when optimising the fluid dynamic behaviour of a machine, component or device characterised by fluid motion and/or heat transfer.
